Be Part of Something Local and Meaningful – Join Largo Communities Together
We believe in the power of community – and what we can achieve when we work together.
That’s why we hope as many people as possible from across our area will choose to become members of Largo Communities Together (LCT).
Our strength comes from our people – and it’s exciting to see what’s already happening when ideas, energy and support come together.

Who We Are
LCT serves a rural community of around 3,000 people across the East Fife villages of:
Lundin Links, Lower Largo, Upper Largo, Woodside, New Gilston, Newburn and Drumeldrie – including surrounding farms and rural homes. We’re lucky to be based right by Largo Bay on the beautiful Firth of Forth.
Our Growing Membership
We’re proud to have over 340 members already – but we’d love to see that number grow. The more members we have, the more representative, resilient, and effective we can be as a community-led charity.
Ways to Get Involved
There are so many ways to support your local area – whether you’ve got time to offer regularly or just want to dip in when you can. You could get involved in:
Citizen science and coastal environment work with Friends of Largo Bay
Community resilience and warm spaces programmes supporting wellbeing and connection

Largo Pier – supporting community involvement in the future of this local landmark
Heritage – exploring and celebrating our shared local stories and identities
Funding and fundraising – helping sustain and grow our work
Administration and governance – keeping things running behind the scenes
Communications and community engagement – sharing stories and connecting people
